As a non-partisan, membership based, volunteer driven, not-for-profit organization, this Chamber became incorporated in 1981, and moved to its current location in the spring of 2012. Being situated in the busy Dean’s Home Hardware plaza just off Highway 11 has given the Chamber a more visible location from which to promote its business Members. The office also serves as a Community & Tourism Information Centre by advertising the activities and events of local groups and by stocking a full array of brochures and resources for tourists and locals alike.
