Madill & St. Michael’s 233 Old Muskoka Rd., Huntsville, ON Madill Cemetery was donated by John Madill in 1873. It is pictured in the book Old Canadian Cemeteries: Places of Memory because of its historical significance as a pioneer settlement. The Madill Church Preservation Society is in care of the Square Timber Church situated within the cemetery. The earliest Burial was in 1873.
Stephenson 280 Muskoka Rd. 10, Port Sydney, ON Stephenson Memorial Cemetery opened in 1877 after a land purchase from the R. D. Brown Family. It is visible upon entering the deeply rooted lakeside community of Port Sydney. This cemetery is seen as a landscape of charming contours and old characteristic feature trees.
