Mary Lake Monster Mash Bash
The Board of Directors have been working together on an ambitious project that will serve its businesses and community. We are energized by the immense success of our 100th Anniversary celebration and dance last summer, and are embarking on a new enterprise that will grow in the years to come.
To begin, we are introducing a legend of a Monster that resides in Mary Lake. This idea will be presented through a children’s book, written and illustrated by local talent. The book will describe the year-round recreation that our lake provides, feature important businesses that support our community, and highlight the importance of environmental stewardship of our land and water.
On August 15th we will be unveiling this legend through a community festival: The Monster Mash Bash. Our inaugural event will invite families to enjoy live music and partake in activities, meet community safety partners and their vehicles, and visit vendors. In the evening, an adult-only dance will kick off with a cash bar and DJ. GET INVOLVED!
